PAX East 2013 – Games We Played

Somewhat belatedly, here are the stats we gathered during the Games on Demand event at PAX East 2013. Overall it was a very popular event and we stayed busy most of the time. We started each day a little later than last year (around 2pm) and ran until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

In that time, we ran roughly 99 games for 443 players over the 26 hours or so that we were open. We had 21 official volunteers, but we were joined on the ground by other great, enthusiastic friends who helped us hold down the host table and fill in the gaps in our schedule.

Here are the games run over the whole event, ordered by frequency:

19 – Dungeon World (with at least one Planarch Codex)
17 – Fiasco
8 – Dread
5 – Lady Blackbird
4 – Durance
4 – Marvel
3 – 13th Age
3 – Don’t Rest Your Head Hooves (hack)
3 – Happy Birthday Robot
3 – Our Last Best Hope
2 – Dogs in the Vineyard
2 – Microscope
2 – Monsterhearts
2 – Project Ninja Panda Taco
1 – Apocalypse World
1 – Burning Wheel
1 – Cthonian Stars
1 – Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple
1 – Everyone is John
1 – Hollowpoint
1 – Hyperreality
1 – In a Wicked Age
1 – It Was a Mutual Decision
1 – Last Stand
1 – Maid RPG
1 – Misspent Youth

1 – Penny For Your Thoughts
1 – Poison’d
1 – Psi Run
1 – Shab-al-Hiri Roach

As usual, these stats may be off here and there as our focus was on seating players and keeping things fun for everyone, so some of the details were lost.
